Hudayriyat Leisure and Entertainment District is a vibrant touristic, cultural and sports destination in Abu Dhabi. It offers a wide range of food and beverage outlets, entertainment and leisure options, and facilities for sports activities.
Once the home of pearl divers, Hudayriyat is a unique and distinct community destination, which draws its inspiration from the beautiful surrounding nature, bringing together a wide variety of cultural and lifestyle experiences.
Hudayriyat Leisure and Entertainment District is made up of leisure and sports facilities, held within the larger project. It includes food and beverage outlets and retail stores, ranging from luxury restaurants to food trucks, to be enjoyed along with the area’s rustic design and seascapes.
Bab Al Nojoum, one of the recreational facilities contained within Hudayriyat Leisure and Entertainment District, provides visitors with a unique camping experience, with 124 tents to rent, including fully-equipped luxury tents with private pools. There is a camping area for families, as well as tents in a range of categories, such as deluxe tents, beach tents and camper vans. In addition, there are bonfire areas, bathrooms, barbecue areas, and an outdoor cinema. Bab Al Nojoum’s waterfront includes green areas, juice bars, food outlets, and a kayak centre.
Hudayriyat Leisure and Entertainment District will also feature a sports village, called 321 Sports. The facility includes sports fields, jogging tracks, and a range of indoor fitness facilities. Visitors can also enjoy a diverse range of amenities, including a FIFA-approved full-size football pitch, as well as tennis, basketball and badminton courts.
Children and adults can also experience obstacle courses at OCR Park, which has a track for adults with eight different obstacles each varying in difficulty and interchangeable to cater to the type of event. There is also a course for children with six smaller obstacle challenges, allowing younger guests to take part in the fun.
The Hudayriyat Heritage Trail along the waterfront offers visitors the opportunity to connect with nature, and enjoy the tranquillity of Hudayriyat Leisure and Entertainment District. Visitors can become acquainted with the historical and cultural significance of the area with educational signs and beautiful artworks along the path. Winding through trees and white sands, the path offers an insight into the lives of pearl divers. The boardwalk offers spectacular views of the enchanting landscape and seascape, as visitors travel between Marsana and Bab Al Nojoum.
At the heart of Hudayriyat Leisure and Entertainment District lies Marsana, a vibrant waterfront promenade featuring a diverse range of food and beverage outlets. In addition to a skate park and a children’s splash park and play area, easy access to the public beach, an outdoor gym, cycling paths, and a marina with a wooden pier.
Bike Park offers visitors a chance to enjoy cycling on three different trails, each of which are designed for beginners, intermediate and advanced cyclists. Visitors have the opportunity to escape the busy urban life and enjoy some recreational exercise at one of Bike Park’s three, five or 10 km cycle paths, shaded rest areas, cycling paths, and jogging track.

Circuit X is a one-of-a-kind adventure park offering exciting and adventurous experiences for all ages. It features four exhilarating parks offering varying degrees of adventurous activities and challenges: BMX Track, Splash Park, High Rope Park and Skate Park.
- BMX Track
The track offers two types of rides, the inner track is an asphalt track designed as a course based on pump action with several areas for skills and jumps. The outer course is a dirt track constructed using natural materials with several ramps and sharp turns.
- High Rope Course
The course offers three levels of games: the lower inner course provides an opportunity for younger participants to experience the course, while the outer course is for older kids with an increasing level of difficulty.The higher, outer course has a number of games with a greater difficulty factor and is designed for older participants. When disembarking from the ropes course, a zip line or a freefall are the modes of transport, offering the guest an exhilarating end to the experience, with 31 obstacles spread over three levels up to 10m high, a 100m long zipline, a 50ft climbing wall with three lanes, as well as an 11m freefall jump.
- Skate Park
Located in Marsana, Skate Park is a perfect mix of terrain and challenges for all skill levels: every bowl and the elements that surround them have been carefully designed to make the skateboarding experience unforgettable. Professionals and beginners can bring their own skateboard/scooter, or rent one at the park – Skate Park coaches are there to help all visitors explore the awesome world of skateboarding and find out what it means to skate, create, and define your own style.
- Splash Park combines the excitement of water activities, and laid-back, relaxing pools with thrilling climbing structures and vertical mazes at Pirates Playground. Children from 1 to 12 years play freely in a safe and supervised environment with temperature-controlled water all year round. Splash coaches keep the little ones entertained and safe, while adults unwind by the beach.
Hudayriyat Courts, located within 321 Sports, features a variety of courts for all sports enthusiasts. Built to international specifications and standards, these courts include football fields, beach volleyball, basketball and tennis courts.
Hudayriyat Beach is a new destination a short distance from some of Abu Dhabi’s top tourist attractions. This seaside getaway is a sports and entertainment haven for families looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
Cycling Track: Promoting walking, jogging and cycling as the preferred mode of transport is one of Hudayriyat island’s key objectives. To achieve this, all streets include cycle tracks as well as wide and well shaded footpaths.
